As our Network Infrastructure & Operations Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and administering network systems throughout our organization. From participating in cutting-edge projects to ensuring day-to-day operational support and security services, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the availability of critical business applications.

ABOUT YOU:

You have breadth of IT experience and proven working knowledge of networking with LAN, WAN, Voice, Wireless and Security support, maintenance, design and implementation. Advanced knowledge and proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. You have strong leadership and project Management experience and the ability to explore new ideas and contribute innovatively to network processes or solutions.

MUST HAVES:
- 5 + years equivalent work experience in Network Services with strong knowledge of networks, LAN/WAN, etc. and possessing a good understanding of bandwidth requirements
- Security knowledge is critical, advanced knowledge and proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, Voice, Wireless and Security support, maintenance, design and implementation
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM, including Change Management and Incident/Problem Management
- Proficiency with network and firewall hardware, protocols, and standards
- Ability to raise, facilitate, and resolve business and technical issues
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service orientation with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience with virtualization technologies
- Post secondary degree related to Information Technology
- Cisco and Networking Certifications required
- Travel for business purposes is a requirement of this position
