Your function

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a paper manufacturing company located in Chambly, an Automation Technician - Permanent position 40h week - evening shift (15h - 23h).
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Preparation of POS and PTS documentation
- Correction, modification and optimization of PLC and HMI programs
- Participation in new equipment installation projects
- Support operators in all production-related problems, in compliance with OHS rules and procedures
- Troubleshooting network problems
- Support and train employees in developing programs and control sequences to improve processes

Your profile
- DEC in electricity, electronics or other relevant field
- At least 3 years' experience in PLC programming
- Experience in the manufacturing sector
- RCA card
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens environments (Step 7, WinCC, SimaticSeries...)
- Knowledge of palletizing and LGV robots, drives, electrical code and diagrams
- Knowledge of communications and protocols (fiber, TCP IP, modbus...)


- Salary: $30/hr - $34/hr depending on experience, full insurance, company RRSP.
Permanent face-to-face position - Monday to Friday - evening shift (3pm - 11pm).
